"Ikigai" can be translated as "a reason for being" or "the thing that gets you out of bed each morning". In my case that is producing and playing music.
I had my ups and downs with it - but it is pretty clear to me that if I want to be "fulfilled" in or with my life, I have to dedicate my whole being to this mission.

This song is a homage to this way of life I discovered a couple of years ago so I tried to embody this process in a song:
| Falling in love with something that you are passionate about
| The motivation that sparked from it
| The failure that is inevitable but necessery in order to get better
| The fears that accompany you on this way
| The practice that it requires in order to master a skill
| The happiness that is the ultimate reward for your devotion.
Everybody that worked on this piece of music krimh (drums) , Leitner Norbert (mix/master) Simeon Baker (camera) - assisted me with their version of "ikigai".
